Green-lipped mussel contains the well-known glycosaminoglycans, which are beneficial for joints and cartilage. Studies have shown that supplementation with green-lipped mussel can have a positive effect on joint function in dogs. It supports the regeneration of joint cartilage and also has a beneficial effect on the quality of the animal's joints. Its high levels of the natural omega-3 fatty acids docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA) make it a valuable source.
